There are two types of stays: common and short-notice. The common stay can be planned 7 and more days prior to arrival with the duration in between 4 and 28 days. For special dates and weeks it can be in between 7 and 14. Owners can have up to 4 pre-planned common stays in the calendar at any given moment of time.
We match co-owners not travel preferences wise but allergies/pets also. If the first co-owner or his family member is allergic to cats, cats will not be allowed. The same is with dogs. If there are no allergies restrictions, owners may bring up to two pets to their home.
Special dates include select international holidays, school holidays as well as popular local events. They vary for each region and therefore for each home, but they are clearly marked in the planning calendar in the SIIX App.
No. SIIX owners don’t need to follow one of the most hated hospitality procedure.
Then you just contact your SIIX manager and there is high probability that your request will be satisfied.
It is your home. The planning will become available for you on a day 1 after closing.
Your SIIX manager is the SIIX team member who is responsible personally for you as a member. Managers are assigned at closing and are in charge of everything on a higher level. SIIX host is responsible for owner’s experience during the home stay. In a very unlikely event of being not satisfied with home’s host, owners can report to a manager.
To make the planning similar to the whole home owner experience we think it is better to keep the calendar as more open as possible. Usually people don’t plan vacation home visits on paper months or years in advance, right? So we have developed the following logic:
1. owners can plan up to 4 years in advance. It might be important if you want to plan something significant, like a jubilee celebration.
2. owners can have up to 4 pre-planned common stays at any given moment of time. The reason is to avoid the dates reservation for “just in case” and to keep the calendar blank.
3. duration of each stay is in between 4 and 28 days (for special dates and weeks it can be in between 7 and 14);
4. back-to-back stays can be planned only through the SIIX manager;
5. the break in between stays is equal or longer than the previous stay;
6. common stay can be planned 7 and more days prior to arrival;
7. short notice stay can be planned within 2-6 days prior to arrival;
8. short notice stays can be planned in addition to 4 common stays;
9. special dates and weeks planning rules slightly differ depending on a particular home and are stipulated in the shareholders/co-owners agreement;
10. if co-owners have enquiry that doesn’t fit, they can contact the SIIX manager for an exception and usually get an approval within hours.
Sure. Please register all the people who are coming in advance (at least three days prior to arrival) in order they could install the SIIX App and the host to be notified.
1/4 gives you 88 days per year. This amount of time is a way more than people usually spend in their second homes.
As a part of the concept we match travel preferences of our members, so you can be very flexible and enjoy home like it were all yours.
There are two types of stays: common and short-notice. Short notice stay can be planned within 2-6 days prior to arrival. Short notice stays can be planned in addition to 4 pre-planned common stays.
There is either storage right in the home or the SIIX storage nearby. If you have anything that needs the special temperature or other regime it will be stored accordingly.
